At the Best Western Jardin de Cluny, we are committed to and encourage the participation in the following principles :

• Acceptance and application of a program for continuous improvement in evaluating and limiting the environmental and social impacts of our activity ;

Water & Energy :

• Evaluate, control and limit as much as possible our consumption of water, electricity, and gas usage ;

Products :

• Purchase and supply ecological and trade-marked products: provide and use environmentally-friendly personal care products and items throughout the hotel ;
• Provide our guests a wider range of food choices producted and obtained from local production, Biological Agriculture and Equitable Trade ;
• Systematically buy and use equipment with a high energy effectiveness ;

Waste :

• Wholesale in order to limit packing ; consolidate our buying requests and work with local suppliers in order to limit transport and deliveries ;
• Reduce the volume of waste ; sort and recycle our waste to the maximum, including harmful refuse (lightbulbs, toners, etc.).

Information :

• Staff training : ensure that our staff members are correctly informed and trained with the ecological process and our adapted policies ;
• Communicate with our guests: Inform you of the actions we are undertaking in our hotel in favor of the environment, thereby allowing you to contribute to our environmental practices.
• Collaborate and dialogue with all our stakeholders in order to improve and guarantee the durability of the program (suppliers, customers, guests, Best Western France office).
